2004 crv honda12/24/2023 ![]() I prefer the shift lever in the conventional location and not on the Instrument panal. I wish they would make the radio console wrap around to the cup holder console giving it a more aggressive, non-minivan type of feel. Before I drove this I always thought this was a Soccor Moms car. In the US it costs only 20~25 thousand USD. If I am not wrong, the chassis is shared with the civic, which is a great vehicle. Suspension absorbed the bump ammazingly well. Occasionally I dropped the vehicle into a pothole. Suspension was very smooth on regular city roads. For a fraction of a second, I felt the body roll and quickly corrected to come back to center. Much to the shock and amusement of my passengers, I performed a quick lane change. Once on a four lane divided road, I waited for the slow vehicles to pull ahead and launched the vehicle red lining on all of the gears. This vehicle is not too big and not too small. Vehicle was quick to respond to throttle and was comfortable in slow conditions. I am not sure if it is so but the shift lever is conveniently located on the dash and very smooth. Once on the road the gear shifts were smooth and efficient. Steering wheel is robust and felt good to hold. Once you look around the interior materials and fit/finish is excellent and typical of honda. Driver seat is very comfortable and offers great visibility. This is s perfect dimension for Indian traffic conditions. I test drove a CRV (2wd, 2000cc, manual) today. Buy the car and then pray you dont need to deal with them after that. The best car at this pricePoor Honda service standards That shows you how much they respect you. In the entire Honda corporate site, there is no page available for "customer feedback". Whats the use of selling great cars when parts have to come from Japan all the time? Next time someone talks of Japanese mgmt methods, i'd probably strangle them.Īreas of improvement Listen to customers. ![]() I cant believe an MNC would sign up dealers like this. Next time you buy a CRV, buy a small car as well, so you can travel when waiting for service. Wait times for parts for CRV exceed 2 weeks sometimes. Ride Quality & Handling Just ok not pothole/massive speedbreaker friendly.įinal Words Parts availablity is pathetic in India specially if you go through Whitefield Honda in Bangalore. Good luck with service in India if you buy the gear version. Gearbox/clutch not too reliable possibly because the original design was for Automatic. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great legroom comfy seats 5 can travel comfortablyĮngine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Not so pleased. Exterior Great I drive the 2005 edition didnt like the new models and so didnt upgrade. ![]()
